Session 10 - the story of the smell and taste

2 More senses, smell and taste. We will continue on our journey along the senses. Today we will answer two important questions: What to do against skunks and why not use humans in finding heroin. Also we have a look at:

  • Stereochemical theory of odors
  • Olfactoric bulbs? Yes you have them…
  • Why females smell better than males
  • The T-shirt test
  • Tast = cultural
  • The after effect

Wow, I kept it under 15 minutes again! Today we start with the senses. Can you imagine that you lose one of your senses? I have a cousin who can not tast anymore. That would be awful I think!

Today we have a look at our vision. This is the first of a two part series. This first part dealts with the path light travels to reach the back of our brain where it can be interpreted and analysed. Here are the subject we discuss:
