Session 61 - Liking and loving - part 2
February 14th, 2006Session 60 - Liking and loving - part 1
February 13th, 2006Session 59 - Norms and behavior - part 3
February 2nd, 2006What is discussed in today’s show:
A general note:
Everyday I create two podcasts. One is for you and is all about psychology. The other one is located at tools-for-students.com and assist people in studying. This website is more commercial since I sell products on that one relating to reading, learning, goal setting, time management and more.
I will in the future put (short) commercials in the mind podcast to tell you about new products I created. This way I can get some more exposure for them.
Right, now for today’s podcast. Here is what we discuss today:
- Rebellion and resistance against norms - how is our behavior influenced
- (again) systematic and superficial processing
- Norms against norms
- how attitudes and norms influence behavior
- Accessibility of norms
- How a crowd influences our norms
The next podcast will be on Monday 13 February. I will be on a ski trip for the next week.
Session 51 - 58: catching up
February 1st, 2006Hello everybody, welcome back!
I will post in this one message the podcasts for the last 8 psychology parts of my studies that were also included in the tool-for-students.com website.
They deal with
- Session 51: The self (ought and ideal self)

- Session 52: Social identity

- Session 53: Attitudes and attitude change

- Session 54: Attitudes and behavior

- Session 55: Groups, norms, and conformity - part 1

- Session 56: Groups, norms, and conformity - part 2

- Session 57: Norms and behavior - part 1

- Session 58: Norms and behavior - part 2

A new start
February 1st, 2006My apologies…
My experiment did not succeed I think. Combining the two podcasts was not a very good idea. That is why I will create two separate podcasts, one for students, and one for us (the psychology people).
I will upload the psychology parts of the students podcasts and you can listen to them.
Questions? Just contact me.
Session 50 - is this the end?
January 20th, 2006Thank you so much for your messages! It is great to know that you liked the podcast I created.
Liked? Yes, this is probably the final session of the MindPodCast. For now, I will continue on a different website. There I will be more practical in the delivery of the information. What I study will be translated into practical information for everybody who is studying or just interested in practical psychology.
I would like to invite you to follow me to www.tools-for-students.com.
The NEW RSS FEED is:
